I am an Edinburgh born food lover. Let’s face it Edinburgh and the surroundings have a lot of hidden gems but it’s not just about eating out and trying new restaurants. I also love to be in the kitchen. I could spend an eternity cooking; mainly recipe’s from cook books but often putting on my own twist or creating the odd recipe from scratch. I find the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. The end result is of course what it is all about, presentation, flavours, taste, lasting impression and enjoyment.
My blog is going to do two things! I will share my own creations good or maybe not so good. This will give you an insight on how I create my dishes and wheher or not they are worth while making! I am also going to review restaurants, giving an honest food lover’s opinion of the food, service and atmosphere. I have no experience in the food industry (well expect when I was younger and worked as a waitress part time), and no experience in journalism or writing. To be honest English was never a strong point! However I have a lot of passion for food which excites me and look forward to sharing.
